Artist - Marcus Harvey

Marcus Harvey produced this painting of Myra Hindley which was done using children's handprint. Myra Hindley a child murderer who killed a number of children on the moors. The painting is realistic, the terms of the artist's use the visual language, color, tone and form. The artist has used used children's handprints in ranger of dark colors to work on the canvas.
I believe this painting was created to depict the face of a person who committed evil crime against children. i think it is ironic that the artist has used children's handprints to create a portrait of someone who will go down in history for what she did to the children. The way the artist has produced this image is bad, awful and sad. It feels sad and up setting that a women like Myra can cause so much aggravations. The artist has reminded her crimes and us of Myra Hindley.
The Artwork communicates a particular message about Myra Hindley, It make us aware that there are other people like her in the world.
