Rendering problems

we started the rendering later then we planned.
we were deciding on whether to use
-Renderfarm which rendered out in layers, compositing it back using after effects. But there was such a cue that it became Ridiculous. A couple of times we tried use a test clip that was done before using the Renderfarm didn't work for unknown reason.
-Maya Software .
we wanted to use mental ray to render our work because it had a more better look to our city building. But we knew that it would take much more time to render then maya software. so we used the maya software rendering instead.

Group Reflection

we found out that we had a lot of work on our plates where there was the interior and exterior city buildings.

animating (PROBLEMS)

During the animation stage we had trouble animating the cars that was suppose to move an the roads created in the city buildings. My plan was to make a Nurbs curve and attract a motion path to the car so that it would follow the curve, but it didn't work. Time was against us and there was no more time towards figuring it out.

Texturing (problems)

Architect-Paul R. Williams

Paul R. Williams 1894-1980

He was an orphaned black boy from downtown with a talent for sketching. How architect Paul Williams shaped his own destiny – along with the Los Angeles cityscape – is a modern-day saga of conquest.

LAX theme building, 1960s Williams designed this futuristic landmark with architects Pereira & Luckman.
